Brake pads bedding in or a problem?

When I get out of my car after a drive, there is a smell coming from the brakes like they have been really worked, and they are pretty warm, but I can touch the rotors so not super hot. This is after 5 miles of normal sensible driving.

Is this normal with new brakes or do I need to take the car in?

I like the huge cool down period in general of the engine and fans. Just feels like an epic bit of kit, engine and exhaust all smelling hot

Totally! The whole car is just an epic experience!

Sometimes I'll open the door as I reverse into a space and the heat from around the car is crazy!

I loved it when it snowed here when I had the M4. It basically clears its own drive way space in seconds!!

Its an event of a car.

One thing I noticed today is that the car feels a lot more stable at higher speeds than my f30.

I guess the wider track and bigger contact area of the tyres is the main difference, but I know the M3 has better aero going on underneath the car (and there's a minature spoiler )
