Individual Colours

Is there an official price list for Individual colours? I don't mean the selection which are on the configurator for £950. I mean even more unusual colours such as San Marino Blue, Java Green, Fire Orange, Mexico Blue etc. I'm just looking for some transparency as it's not very clear. And is it possible to get any colour? There's even Suzuka Grey available, which is an Audi colour. How is this even possible?!!

I assume build time is longer with an individual colour?

Can I just pick a colour from an older BMW like Phoenix Yellow (for example)?

I think the price changes depending on how unusual the colour is. You can request any colour from any manufacturer - if not a Bmw colour it will need to be approved.

I have a SMB on order. It's a bit difficult to work out the cost for the paint because I kept on changing the options and paint colour and getting multiple quotes. However I think for the SMB the starting cost was around £2300 and then you just negotiate the total cost down as you normally would.

I was quoted that SMB would add 12 weeks to the standard 14 week delivery. So 26 weeks!! However just been told it's ready end of Aug so that would be about 16 weeks in total.

Bear in mind that the cost is negotiable just like any other optional extra.

Whatever discount you achieve on the car should also apply to the paint. It certainly did in my case anyway.

That was the informed price by the dealer. Never any negotiation on the paint, just the total price. I suspect many dealers receive the pain cost from BMW and just add on a number based on the brand of watch you're wearing!

Well I got a discount on the paint as I changed to individual after initial discount was negotiated and based on figures, they then proceeded to discount the paint by the corresponding amount.
