Just Ordered CF DCT Cover

The dangers of the long wait 'till September...

Just ordered one of these from the place Ade_7 got his rear splitter (£80 delivered):-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carbon-Fib...item2ee4616fb3

As I've got the CF interior ordered, I thought just a little more inside can't hurt. Also, if they make a good job of that, then I might look at their rear splitter and rear spoiler too.

I'd leave it at that then, probably...

Ah another victim of "the wait".

I think we should have an automatic forum lock out as soon as someone posts they have ordered theirs! Would save people a fortune

Just for clarity my diffuser was from Britain.silverstone so not the same seller. Fingers crossed it's a good quality item

Oh sorry - not sure where I got that from then. All the better I try a smaller item first then.

I was thinking something like this, though I dont' really want both gear bits in carbon.

I prefer to keep the DCT selector in the metal look as from factory, but get the CF and alcantara surround, eg where the shift ferocity control button is. Ill include a link as it is a little confusing to explain, and there is a vid on YT with someones AY M4 who did as I am planning to do.

Yes I can see the piece you mean. You do need to pick one I think; that example of all carbon does show there is such a thing as too much CF!

Arrived

Well it arrived today from Taiwan not much more than a week from ordering.

I'm very pleased with the CF weave and top coat finish. No idea how it fits yet of course. On the basis of the finish though, I would be happy to order from these guys again.

See what you think:-
