Very First thing you did after purchasing your ///M?
Simple question...
What was or is going to be the very first thing you did/going to do once driving off the lot from where ever you just purchased your ///M3 ///M4. Drove somewhere? went straight to the shop/home to install pre-purchased goodies? went to get tint? got a speeding ticket a few minutes after purchase? I'll obviously start... my wife said we have to go strait to get Boba Tea but i want to go straight to in & out my pick up is around early/mid July. EXCITED! |

Drove 50 miles home to pick up my son that was 1.5 yrs old at the time, when he saw the car he went straight to the back passenger door to open it and got right in. When I my wife got home we all went for a ride, it was a fun day. A week later the car was already lowered, spacers, m-performance lip and spoiler, window tint. It's been a fun ride with this car from day one.

Left the Welt for the hotel, picked up our luggage, headed for Switzerland. 30 minutes later a guy switched into my lane and kept going right into the wall kicking up a shitload of rocks.
To this day it's the only scratch I have on my car. Leave Welt: Out of petrol ALREADY?? And then, ahem, Italy. Can I afford an M4? Sure. That? No. Way.

I picked mine up in early March 2015 the day after a snow storm, I drove it from the dealer on Long Island to my garage in Manhattan, By the time I got it to the garage it was filthy, I had the attendant wash it, covered it up and did not drive it for another 6 weeks until the weather cleared up, the roads were clean and relatively pot hole free.

When I picked up my 2008 M car, My brother drove me to the dealership and my nephew (10 at the time) stayed with me because he wanted to be the first one in it with me. The car was indoors in the delivery area and the Jerez black looked amazing.
When it was time to leave the heavens opened and we drove all the way home in the most torrential downpour I have ever been in on interstate 95 going like 15 miles an hour and not being able to see 10 feet in front of the car. I was so thankful to get the thing home and into the garage safely. We ate dinner and then once it stopped raining went out into the driveway under the spotlights and washed the car in the dark. |
