I've seen these are sold by IND in the US but wondered if these can be bought in Uk or Europe or do people just get them painted? I don't really like to mod my car but I like the idea of having the engine cover painted the same colour as the exterior. Any thoughts on this? Is it tasteful or not?

I have painted these and also bought carbon fibre ones. In my view it is a tasteful mod and one that should come straight from the factory with it.
I just had my painted cover done by my local body shop for £100, it lasted 3.5 years and was still perfect when I sold the car. The carbon ones can be bought from Eventuri and are beautiful.

Thanks Denso,
How did you retain the colour on the M logo and the wording? Was this painted too?

Thanks. I'll take to local paint shop and see what they can do.
Cheers,
