Paint Protection & M Performance Kit

So I just picked up my brand new X5 a couple of days ago, and two of the things I am planning to do in the next week is have the M Performance kit installed, and have a paint nano-sealant applied to the car.

It seems that I've managed to get an appointment to have the kit done first and the sealant done second. I'm just curious as to whether anyone thinks that I am doing this in the wrong order... after all, parts of the vehicle will be covered once the Performance pieces (rear diffuser, front splitter, etc) are on, meaning they won't get the protection applied.

I'm most concerned about the decals on the side skirts - whether these would benefit from having the sealant applied over the top, or if they should be done once the paint itself is protected.

Anyone have any thoughts in this respect?

Install the kit first, then get it detailed...
