Talking Tint: Where and what did you guys go with?

Hey guys

Is Auto links still the place to go? I have heard about it costing about $350 with the ceramic tint. Anywhere else you guys can recommend that might do as good a job for less money (although i think the price is reasonable)

I am thinking to go with either 30 or 35%. I don't want to go too dark. Exterior is Sapphire black with Orange interior.

Feedback?

Thanks.

I have 30 on the large side windows and 50 on the smaller side windows rear window.

I find the large side windows are not dark enough but that's the max legal tint here in Québec...

Agree. Not dark enough. You may want to push for a more "illegal" look IMHO.

Yes, seriously thinking about it. It's a disappointing look at the moment.

I was also going to suggest 40 - 50, probably a good mix of darkness and visibility

Garage List
I got Pinnacle 30 installed at Elite Tint. First time going there. Happy with the job and I like that they'll fix one window if I scratch it.

I think 30 is pretty good.

What is the legal limit in Toronto? (Just curious but i have not had any issues in the past running even darker such as 20)

We don't have a numerical value set for Ontario.
Federal law says 70% of light must pass thru on cars from the factory.

Basically it comes down to do you have to be able to see outside, and other people, especially police, have to be able to see you.

If you have a light interior you can probably get away with darker tints. If your car has black paint your tint won't look as black when compared to the same tint on say a white car.
