Tint match?

I'm going a bit nuts here. I've had 2 separate places tell me they can tint my front 2 Windows and have it match the factory. Maybe I'm expecting too much but the hue and color is always slightly off.

Anyone have an absolutely perfect job done and mind sharing the brand and type of tint used? So far I've had 3m and Global.

Any suggestions?

10% 3m would nail it however 15% is the most commonly stocked and about as close as you can get. it does not have that green hue/tint to the film like some of the cheaper films.

The fronts will always look brighter due to the windshield.

if you go 10% the windshield lighting will reduce most of the extra lighting and matches slightly better but this is 15% 3M:

Were you able to find a tint?

Looks like I will be going with 3M 35% as per the dealer recommendation. We cannot do anything more as it is illegal here. Which 3M tint though?

that's what we have also, in most lighting it looks very close, just slightly lighter maybe with the light coming in from the windshield. its a better color match than the 15% Johnson film I had originally.

Agree on the 15%. I had them take a tint tester to the factory tinted rear windows, and it displayed 18%. Doing the 15% GTX was their recommendation and I'm happy with the results.

We just had Llumar CTX 15% installed on my wife's front windows. They match really well.

35% on my front 2 windows as well.

Came out pretty well with no noticed difference between the rear and front. A bit light for my taste, but was tired of getting pulled over for dark tint on my former GC.

again, if i had to do it again i would do 10% 3M to offset the extra light from the windshield but the 15% is adequate and the 3M film matches very well from the inside looking out. no green hue or off-color windows.
