Nuts stuck on wheel studs

So my attempt at installing APEX wheel studs using the two nut method failed miserably. The washer I used sort of split apart, which I think caused some cross threading. I'm hoping I didn't damage the threads.

Now I've got two studs with the reversed nuts stuck on. It spins around the middle of the stud, but it gets stuck towards the end. Any ideas?
