Canadian orders....

Placed an order for a 2016 F82 M4 on Jan 29th and the wait is killing me, especially since I've already sold my 2011 E92 M3.

Budget Build:

Black Sapphire exterior
Sakhir Orange extended interior
CF interior trim
M-DCT
Adaptive M Suspension
Black M437 wheels

I'm dealing with Maranello BMW in Vaughan; so far it has been a pretty good experience. My SA gives me regular updates of the build status, and currently its at code 190 - which means in transit via train to port for shipping. So the car's already built! Expected delivery was April 30th when ordered, but based on status so far, I'm expecting to get the car end of March...can't wait!

Anyone want to share their ordering experiences, and/or have any questions regarding ordering?

Wow, that's a quick build. You must have lucked into an allocation that was already scheduled (dealer stock or someone backed out). I had to wait nearly 4 months for mine, so consider yourself lucky! Watching it sit at the port (at both ends), is definitely the worst part.

Very quick build! Definitely got lucky with an scheduled allocation; makes my SA look great. In fact anyone interested in ordering one in the GTA area PM me and I'll give you his details.....he called me today asking if I'm part of an association which saves me another $500, and this is after the fact, stuff he doesn't need to do.

Watching it sit will be painful...

Awesome that you will get your ride soon. I plan to order my car around May, once I return from my business trip. I am wondering if you happen to know the price for MP Aero kit. Thank you.

Careful with MaranelloBMW! I bought mine there. They didn't install idrive properly. I ended up came back 2 times to get it fixed. The second time took the whole damn day. Pay attention to details when u pick up. Don't do service there

Thanks! My cars currently on the ELEKTRA Ro-Ro Cargo ship; ETA March 7th at the Halifax, NS port. Thanks to my SA, and the good folk on this forum, I've been able to follow and track my build, which has been awesome.

I think they'll be taking orders for the 2017 model year in June...? You could possibly wait. Nevertheless, that's exciting!

Let me find out about the MP Aero kit; will get back you.

Bmw grand river. i am in waterloo area. (Not saying they are any better, just closer)Bought my new car from maranello only because they offered better price than my local dealer. My connected drive did not work. Check my old post, you will know.

I bought winter tires pkg from them too. When i came back last Nov to get it installed, took them 3 damn hours. I did book a appointment, but they told me there were 3 cars before me when i went to my appointment( wtf, why do i need a appointment then?) plus, my sales guy showed me a 7 he was preparing for delivery that day. Awkwardly, the gesture control did not work. Lmao. Turned out service folks(or fools) did not install that properly either. Privately, he told me their service was crap that day.

I think my wait will be a bit longer.....I ordered:

BSM 2016 M3 with SO interior
Fully loaded with Competition Package and MPE Exhaust.

Ordered through Parkview BMW. They tell me production begins in March sometime for the Competition Package and that I can hopefully expect to see it before May, but I'm not holding my breath. I waited a long time for my 2014 M Performance Edition 335 xDrive.

P.S. Anyone interested in my old car? Going to be trading it in when the new M3 arrives. PM me if you are interested in a sweet deal in the Toronto Area. Its Black on Black.

Comp Pack with MPE exhaust is going to make one mean build! Can't wait to see pics.

endras is best for M car .. as long you don't mind going for a farther distance. Otherwise, I would say BMW Toronto would be next in line.

Autohaus is not that good ... it will take many attempts to correct 1 issue as it seems the tech has no clue how to fix car at all.

I got my car from Endras
I usually go to Autohaus for services
Changed and going to BMW Toronto ... better service than Autohaus
