Dinan Tune with Hi Flow Cat DP's

Hey was wondering if anyone on here has run Dinan tune with hi flow catted DP's on stock CP exhaust? I like the tone of the stock CP exhaust, just want more turbo noise and to be louder. Also, do you think having DP's would void any kind of warranty claim with Dinan?

There's only one thing preventing me from going that route with the catless DP's and that is the inability to remove the check engine light with the Dinan piggyback.

If that could be done I would have already...did.

Since you are not increasing boost, it should not get you in any trouble
I recommend you contact Dinan before adding any mods

When getting downpipes, you should switch a more complete tune to take full advantage of the cats removal

Would hi flow catted DP's add any benefit to the car with a Dinan tune? Or would it be very minimal?

For example the ESS DP with 200 cell cats on your website, would you recommend them with a dinan tune? Also, does anyone have a video of these catted DP's with CP exhaust?

And i would contact dinan before i decide on which tune to go with.

It would be minimal if you do not increase boost of your tune and with Dinan i do not believe that is possible

Steve Dinan's F10 M5 that was used for the product development for their program had high flow cats.
I believe they were Noel brand name cats.
I don't remember the specifics but you can contact Dinan directly and they will answer your questions in regards to that.

The warranty aspect with Dinan is explained on their website and on a few forum posts.
Basically, depending on what Dinan parts are installed would reflect the warranty scenario depending on what failed, what brand parts you have etc..

Example : If you had Dinantronics stage 2 software with BMS intakes and your mass air flow meter failed..Dinan would not cover your repair bill due to using another companies air intake.

Thanks for the info! I talked to a Dinan dealer in Fort Lauderdale and they said they have installed AMS catted DP's on multiple Dinan tuned M5/M6 and have not had any issues. I am going to get the tune installed then AMS Ceramic coated catted DP's with my stock CP exhaust. I will post a review and video when everything is completed.

That's really good to hear about no issues - I hope that mean no check engine lights. Looking forward to your review.

Plan on any dyno runs?

Unfortunately i am limited on time right now because of work. I leave today and will be out of the country for a little over 2 weeks and as soon as i am able to get the tune installed on March 9th i am having it installed. I will look around and see what dyno's are available. Doing a dyno on my car when stock would really be the only way to get a base line.

I have the itch to get everything done! I will post a review, but not sure yet if i will have time to dyno the car before.
