Early April European Delivery Possible?
Strongly considering swapping my 2014 Cayman S for an M3. Love the car but the space constraints won't really work going forward.
Is the 1st week of April likely to early for ED? I know that allocations for the M3 are tight. My SO is also in the market for a new car and liking the A3 Etron. A joint ED would be awesome. Will start emailing dealerships tomorrow but was hoping for some early feedback from you guys. |

It's doable if you can find a dealer with an allocation.
For example, my allocation came in 12/30 for 4/29 delivery, however my CA thought I was taking delivery in March. The allocation I received was a week 4 build at 112 status. After placing my order, the build was bumped back to 111 status, where it now sits. Good luck!

3 months is typically the comfortable buffer for doing an ED order. You MAY be able to get it done if you can find an allocation that's close to production. I can tell you I'm doing an ED the first week of April and I received my date confirmation a couple of weeks ago. They may already be fully booked for that week by now. Definitely don't delay inquiring. In fact, I'd START with requesting dates even before having any discussions about the car or the pricing/configuration.
