ED Incentive lock date

I'm on the west coast, so I know I can lock/pick from incentives that are available 90 days before a particular date. But for ED, what is that date? Is it the date of finalizing the purchase (~1-2 weeks before departing for Germany), the date of Welt pickup, the date of US redelivery? Trying to figure out when I should start monitoring incentives based on my June 7 Welt pickup date.

It's the purchase date prior to the ED. That is the formal purchase transaction when funds are paid to BMW and the car is titled in your name.
