Individual Manufaktur M4 - What's the ordering process?
I want to get my initials stitched on headrest and add a logo. I know Individual Manufaktur can do all of this. Has anyone gone through this process before? How do you provide your design to individual assistant? What're the limitations?
Thanks! |

its the same as any indiv process. your sales reps submits all your request to indiv, they either agree or decline. If they agree they will tell you how much. I don't think I have ever seen anyone get logos or initials in their personal designs done before and I would think it would be almost impossible just bc it could be a issue with the outcome not being exactly the way the customer wants. To many issues and variable that could arise IMO from BMW doing a private parties designs etc.. but then again you won't know until you submit it.

There it goes over the common Individual offerings available per BMW model. It also has a section for Individual Manufacture. Seems like you basically have to interact with your dealer to setup the possibility of ordering a car with Individual Manufacture. Then you will or should be arranged to discuss options with a BMW Individual Manufacture specialist; afterwards the cost will be forwarded to your dealer. You are under no obligation to purchase the individual options. The iPad app is pretty interesting. There much more options available to you, if you're willing to inquire and pay for them. Things like 2-tone leather and embroidery! Seems like you will need to find an experienced CA with ED and/or Individual ordering experience to help you navigate through BMWNA to Individual Manufacture. Good Luck |

Had I known about the BMW Individual Manufacture, I would have opted for quilted seats like in the M6.

I see ok I was talking about indiv.
the process your talking about I am not really familiar with the process, Im sure David is. I would guess the process would be similar to indiv where you submit your request and they say yes or no and how much. Ill have to ask David about it next time I talk to him
