Swift springs batch two hand compression test!
Damn I can't upload the photos from my iPhone ? :/
In short I just tried the same test the other gentleman from NJ tried. I could NOT compress my front batch 2 swift springs nearly as much as he could. And I did the identical methods to him. I. E. I'm also lift frequently, *rep* 335lbs on bench, and weight in at 195lbs. These springs did NOT easily move like that. It's practically confirmed, it's a batch 3 issue* Athough I don't want to jinx myself as I haven't official installed and tested them on my car yet..... Here are the photo's as promised (they don't show much here in way of evidence, couldn't snap a photo while compressing by myself lol).... I could not compress the "helper" spring portion nearly as easily as M_Driver and the entire spring didn't compress easily under my 195lb frame either... looking forward to installing these to be sure* I don't know what happened with batch three but its not a dimension issue as much as it is the front springs have no spring rate resistance to keep the car off its bump stops issue! Speculation... |

The helper portion is meant to compress with little effort. It is there simply to keep the spring under tension when the suspension is a droop.
