My M3 Order + Strong Dealer Recommendation
Hey Everyone. Let me start with the obligatory praise for this forum. It's great! I love it! Kidding aside, this is a massively helpful forum. I've learned a ton and have received great advice.
Speaking of which Ecoce1 pointed me in the direction of an outstanding dealer in New Jersey. I contacted him a few months ago letting him know that I would be in the market soon for an M3 and he called a few weeks ago to let me know that he had an allocation for an M3. I jumped on it, gave him my order specifications and that same day I was given a production number for a car that I will receive via PCD as I live in Miami. Feel free to PM me if you want the dealer's info. He's a great guy, super responsive and the price was great. He's asked that I not disclose the details of the deal so please respect that but I'm happy to share his contact info. Again, MASSIVE thanks to Ecoce1 ! Really appreciate it man. AND here's the build: 2016 M3 Black Sapphire Metallic Sakhir Orange/Black Extended Merino Leather Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Executive Package Lighting Package 19" Black Light-Alloy Wheel Double-SpokeStyle 437 M Adaptive M Suspension Enhanced USB and Bluetooth plus Smartphone Integration Side and Top View Cameras Manual Transmission Currently slated for week 49 build. Looking forward to it...to say the least! |

Finding the right dealer was the hardest part about ordering the car. I went through at least 20 different dealers / leasing companies.
After 4 months of waiting for the car and 1200 miles on the car now, I can say that I made the right decision with the dealer. Best part is that he still continues to help me with scheduling service and getting me discounted m performance parts (even though at this point he does not make any money from me at all). I am glad I was able to help. I think a few people on the forum ordered from him. Enjoy the wait (it goes by a lot faster than you think).

If you are doing a remote deal (without being at the dealer), the odds of them accepting and dealing with your trade pretty much suck. You will have to sell it yourself, or use CARMAX. The only way that this might work is if you chose a dealer that is affiliated with a chain that has an outlet in your area.

You are welcome. I purchased from an NJ dealer (affiliated with Penske) as well, then did ED. My local dealer became a dickhead about a courtesy delivery, so I went with a Penske dealer in Scottsdale for the courtesy delivery. Hope it works out for you on the trade- that's a major complicator.
