I've had the car since August and I'm very happy with the cloth. Then again, I've never understood leather.

I like the LED lights, especially how bright the high beams are.

I got DCT, LED, and full leather. Love all three and wouldn't want anything less.

You are spending over 60k on a car another $995 wont hurt you if you order leather. IMO leather increases value specially on a high end bmw

I got the Executive Package, so the extended leather would've been free. I spent a long time deciding between cloth and extended leather. I liked the look/texture of the cloth (similar to my '13 WRX) and from what I read, cloth is better for the track.

In the end, I got the car I wanted, not the car I will someday sell. Then again, I had my WRX for a little over two years, so I maybe I should pay attention to resell value.

There are threads devoted to Full Leather and LED's....the full leather thread being:

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1009085

The general consensus isn't that people dislike the cloth, it's that they regret not getting the full leather dash. Read the threads out there, particularly the "regret" threads, and a high number of people state that if they had one regret it was not getting the full leather dash.

It really adds a lot to the interior and something you see and live with every day.

Some don't care, but apparently more do.

Personally, I would have purchased the cloth seats if I could get the full leather dash. Sadly that wasn't an option. The full leather dash looks amazing, and I love it. One of the best choices I made. Along with DCT and LED's.

Value of options/packages is debatable. On this forum, we make sure of that.
I'm grateful that we have them. Options, not values. Values are good too, but I digress.

Example: I ordered LED because I wanted to try new tech. That, and how could I explain a random stranger at the gas station why my tail is LED and my front is noble gassed.

M adaptive seemed like a bargain, as well as the black 19's.
Exec and DCT, in my biased, subjective opinion, are a waste of money.
Let me bold it for people that don't read past first 2 words before forming an opinion.

Many others would disagree. And that's why options are optional!

Well said. The leather is still a joke. I plan on a ton of mods for my car gonna pay for leather to pull the seats? I don't have leather dash on my e90 doesn't seem to be that bad.

Full leather is the one and only option I regret not having. That said, I NEVER regret it when I'm in my car - only when I come here.

I think leather is much easier to clean. Especially if you have kids.
