Front lip on a black X5: carbon fiber or painted?

Hello all!
future new owner of X5 50i M-sport here.
Car is coming November 10th hopefully
I have been lurking forum for quite sometime now and getting all the goodies together even before the car is here lol
getting M50d mode done as well as possibly black kidney grills (not sure on the last one, since 50i comes with titaniums I heard, so I might like that)
So the question is: I am not sure if I like carbon fiber M Performance front lip on a black car - looks great on white or grey, but i'm yet to see a good black sapphire or carbon black picture with it.
my car is black sapphire with black Dakota leather so I am contemplating painting the lip the same black sapphire color.
so what do you think? I don't like the rear diffuser anyway, so there will be nothing else carbon fiber to balance it out.
if you have pictures of carbon fiber on black car or saw a painted one and can tell me your opinion, that would be much appreciated!

Carbon fiber pattern or painted black lip on a black sapphire metallic will have the same affect looking at the car from a distance of several feet away depending on lighting. It will just blend.
Personally, I prefer the carbon fiber patterns.

Been busy on my 2016 Ram 2500 lately. Barely put miles on my X5 this year as much as I'd hate to admit it.

Honestly on a black X5 painting the lip body color won't really make it look better or worse so IMO I would say leave it CF. That area gets a good amount of rock chips since its the lowest part of the car so something to consider.

Yes, I didn't think about the rocks, CF may be less noticeable with pattern

Would an invisible wrap/shield on the front prevent stone chips on CF as well as it does paint?

This is exactly the look I am after, however with an M50d I'll have grey bumper fins and side mirrors.

Thanks again for the inspiration.
