Boston Area Tire Shop Recommendations

Hey guys,

After doing a lot of research and reading on here, I just placed an order for an X5, which will be my first BMW, so I’m pretty excited about that. Thanks to a lot of you for all the useful information. Here is my build:

Driver Assistance Package

20" M Light alloy Double Spoke wheels
Adaptive M Suspension + rear axle air suspension

I will be taking delivery soon and want to swap the RFT out the first day with the Continental DWS06. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good shop in the Boston area to get that done. If they would buy the run flats for a decent price that would be a bonus too. OR the other option I can think of is to put the run flat performance tires back on before summer and switch to the DWS in the winter.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

What dealer are you going with?
I'm in Boston and I went with BMW Gallery Norwood.
They swapped the summer runflats for the DWS06 even swap
It was part of the deal.
It actually came with the old generation DWS and I had them switch for the new generation 06s. I had it written in the deal and they overlooked the detail but happily switched them to make sure I was a happy customer.

I ordered the X5 from Herb Chambers Boston. I was thinking of ordering the tires myself and taking them to the dealership with me and asking if they could swap them on delivery, and keeping the RFT they come with. I haven't even considered if they would do an even swap and I doubt they would. Sounds like you came out good, but I will have to ask.
