2016 X5 MSport Delivered

My E70 got destroyed in a hail storm so I picked up a 2016 alpine white F15. So far I have been pretty happy with the improvements in both design and feel.

Right after delivery, I took it straight to a shop to get full xpel put on the front clip/sides/rear and got front windows tinted to match back. Strange design with the opening on the front fenders that would lead to rocks shooting thru and damaging the side doors IMO.

Next, swapped out the Dunlops with Continental DWS. I wanted the DWS06 but for some reason they weren't available in Canada.

The only disappointing things so far is that I have a couple of issue since day 1 that hopefully the dealership can resolve tomorrow.

Here are some pics of my damage E70, F15 at delivery, expel/tint installed and DWS installed.

Poor E70, wow! Good ol' Calgary. What issue(s) are you encountering? And +1 for the window tint brand / percentage please.

That E70 looks like it battled through a war zone. Congrats on the new baby. Those wheels are absolutely on point!

The fronts are tinted at 15% with LLumar Pinnacle ceramic. So far I am happy with quality, I haven't noticed any interference with electronic such as comfort access.

Issues:
1. My steering alignment seems to be off to the left since delivery. The car pulls straight but it's a little annoying that when I look down, the steering wheel is off center.

2. For the interior lighting package, the light under the center dashboard is now much dimmer then the rest. The first 48 hours, everything was nice and uniform. There is thread with other users with the same issue that hopefully I can provide some info for after I get car back from dealer.

Thank you everyone for the comments as well

It felt like I was in a war zone, it lasted 10 min. I was just happy that my windows were just cracked but still on the SUV.....thumbs up to BMW windows as most of the cars around me had all their windows completely smashed out

I have the same problem with the steering wheel being off center, annoys the heck outta me. I'll be taking it in for an alignment once I put my springs/links in. I've got 52k on the odometer.

BTW, is this a non-staggered set-up? The rear tire doesn't look like 315 based on the photo.

I thinks it's my awesome camera skills lol

They are staggered setup 275/315 but I don't know why they looks so skinny in pic

Apparently the DWS tires give the appearance of skinnier tires compared to stock rft. There is a thread on this here somewhere.
