seat cleaning
I have the Beige interior in my X5 and my seats are already starting to show color transfer on them from whatever color pants I am wearing. Mostly blue for probably jeans. It seems to clean off with leather cleaner but was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if they could recommend any solution to stop this from continuing to happen. I can't wear khakis everyday!
Thanks!

There is no way to stop it besides like you said wearing khakis, or sweat pants or anything but jeans really. Get some Wolfgang Leather Conditioner and Wolfgang Leather Cleaner. They are GREAT products and the conditioner will make it easier to clean when you go to clean it.

Exactly why I went with black interior. There's really no way around it.

OK, we are surely "kind" to our car, but anyway...we have Canberra Beige for soon 1,5 year, and no seat-color issues at all.
I wear jeans 99% of the time. I quickly "run over" the seats about every 2-3 weeks with some kind of leather protection. Most often I use some of the cheap, pre-treated paper wipes called ArmorAll. Still looks like new, both the leather texture and color. (And obviously, ALL kind of leather needs some kind of "help" now and then to stay fresh). Best Bent |
