I know dealers got a few allocations for November builds at the beginning of Oct. I am waiting for an allocation and was told the next round should be the beginning of November. Hoping for a late Nov or Dec build.

When I ordered my car at the end of August here in WA , both Bellevue and Seattle said they already knew what their allocations were through the end of the year. Not sure how it is in Portland though.

Thanks. I actually ended up ordering through Bellvue. Said they ordered it last Friday and would have me a production number soon. Was just asking here to see if they were out. Bellevue seems like a high volume dealer.

They are not being honest. No dealership knows what allocations they will get until they get them.

So all you have right now is a promise of an allocation. Even then if someone comes along who pays more than you they can give it to that person before you. Until you have an allocation you do not have a car.

This is true. However I put a deposit down and they say they got the order in a week ago. Told me they would have me a production number soon. Feel I got a great deal considering I won't have to get it shipped. IF they don't come through I have no problem going elsewhere. Am just wanting it by spring.

Anyone get an allocation for a December build yet? Haven't heard of anyone getting new allocations this month.

December allocations would have been sent out first week of november. Next round of allocations probably won't be until first week of december for January builds.

Seems like they are still slim Pickens. Really wonder why BMW isn't producing more. There are so many wanting them.

There are not a ton of them but if you call around it is not that hard to find someone that has one.

May not be any in your specific area though.

I had contacted a few dealers that would get them but either didn't want to budge off MSRP or the cost of shipping would offset any savings. Decided to order from what appears to be a high volume M dealer in WA. Just waiting for them to get an allocation. I am in OR and most here aren't getting many and the ones that do get one aren't dealing much.
