Can't stand the waiting. Week 48 production.

I've read many of the threads on production timelines. I'm just a few weeks away from production now. I think a vin should be available soon and my status code should change? Am I right?

If your dealership has an allocation, you will receive a production number immediately. The VIN is assigned when you get to status 150 which will be just prior to or on the actual date the vehicle begins production.

I feel your pain, mine is production 45, and it went to status 150 last week. I'm hoping it gets set to be shipped by the end of this week. ETA is mid December if everything works out....

It will be a nice Christmas present. You're on the home stretch.

So with a week 45 production, it started production approximately week 43? When did you get a vin?

I got a production number a while back, maybe a month or so. Now the VIN was issue somewhere around week 43-44. At the end of week 44 that's when the car change from status 112 to 150. I should be hearing from my CA soon about the car being added to AG inventory in order to head to port. That is if nothing holds it back at the end of production.

I am week 45 and my car finished production today (155) after having started production around October 21.

Which one of us is starting the November track your build thread?! Haha. Unfortunately my PCD isn't scheduled until 1/8, so I'll have some waiting to do after it gets state side.

Start playing Clash of Clans, that should you hold you over for at least 2 months.

Ordered mine on 8/30. It started production on 10/16 and looks like it ended on 10/30. Really hoping I'm able to take delivery in WA before the end of the year.

So, I'm week 48 and doing PCD. I guess it's safe to say I'll be 3 weeks behind you down at Spartanburg... Assuming my car makes it out of Germany before the holiday factory slow down.

I told my dealer that I would order one only if they could deliver before the end of the year. I really want it before the ed of the year as that is when the real lease specials usually happen. Fingers cross I get it or else they can keep it unless they are willing to work the numbers for me.

I thought about getting distracted with other things, but reality is I am already ordering parts for it. Kind of contradicts my first plan of only buying the car upon arrival before the year is over.

Wait game is real. Car went into production last week. Not sure what my build week is, but estimated completion date is Nov 10.

I see estimated ship times in the main sticky for East and West coast... Anyone know for Texas?

Rates can be locked in 60 (or 90) days prior to signing. Thus, even if your car comes in January, December rates can be used.

Curious to see how this works if the have a similar Novemberfest deal in December that specifically states it can only be for cars purchased in November, though.

You car will get shipped to the east coast (probably Charleston or Brunswick), your CA should have the port of entry, processed at the VPC and then trucked from there to your dealer in Texas. There is a VPC being built in Galveston but it's not in use yet.

Just heard from my CA. PCD schedule date 1/22/2016. Let me know if anyone will be there then. Now, more waiting.

Driving back to the DC area.

Did going the PCD route delay your delivery? I'm thinking PCD as well but have some time to decide.

Doing PCD always delays your car by another 2-4 weeks than if you just took delivery from your dealer.

thank you. so question is for folks that have done PCD, is it worth it to delay delivery for another 2-4 weeks? I'm still not sure how much track time you get during PCD given its only a half day and also involves delivery and plant tour. any insights would be helpful. thank you

I've done it before and it's a fun experience. Not a ton of track time, but with the factory tour and museum it's worth it overall. Plus it's a great drive home. I'm also taking my 15 year old son with me.
