Sapphire Black with 20" 491 wheels?

Hi all,

Looking into wheel options and I'm curious about this combo.

I've tried looking but haven't come up with any pictures yet.

Thanks!

Definitely get them. I think they look so nice on the X5. We don't get the option in the US so I'm looking to buy from the dealer separately, which is $$$...

That second video looks great. Thanks.

My car is on its way with the stock M50d wheels, so I can't just swap them now.

Am looking at various options, however ideally I'd have to sell the stock 468M's.

I've got stock M50d 20" wheels and the black 20's for winter with Pirelli Scorpions on. At first I though the black one s looked better, but now I prefer the stock, but here I need both for the weather.

I am looking for the black ones. Why do you say the stock ones look better?

I think it would depend on the car.

Sapphire Black and Space Grey would look great with the 491's. Especially when keeping to a 'blacked out' look. Otherwise they may not fit in with the overall theme.

The stock wheels would give some contrast, which probably looks refreshing.

I have a mineral white M Sport and the black 491s would add a great touch of contrast

Maybe too much black? The M50d wheels have some nice detail with the shading of silver and grey colours. Also they are exclusive to M50d I think. Black ones ares susceptible to hair line scratches. You can only see them when you look very close at the gloss paint and I've protected mine. You can't go wrong with either, but the originals are pretty good. I only got the black as they were a set with the winter tyres to put on Oct-Apr.

Yeah, on Carbon Black it would look too dark for my tastes as well. Here in the US, we don't get the option for neither M50d wheels, which are my favorites, unfortunately. Even though 468 and 469 wheels are of the same size, 468 looks so much nicer (and bigger too).

My car with 491s would look exactly like below...
