Is it true that Spartanburg won't produce any BMW Individual colors?

Hey everyone. Toying around with the idea of ordering either an X6 5.0 or an X5M/X6M depending on the difference in lease rates. My knowledgeable Client Advisor in New York said Spartanburg will not build any Individual colors (like if I wanted to order Frozen Black or San Marino Blue). Has anyone here heard otherwise? Has anyone taken delivery of a BMW Individual colored car? Thank you in advance!

I didn't end up ordering one but I tried to get an X5 in a custom color and he showed me the email from Spartanburg and they said they don't do any custom color ordering.

I wonder if it's a BMW USA or NA only restriction on X5 Individual colors. Folks elsewhere have purchased X5s with Individual Colors and posted pictures to this forum. I'm pretty sure the Spartanburg plant is the only one in the world that makes the X5 so it can't be a plant restriction.

If that is the case then it is a marketing decision made by BMW USA.
