Still thoroughly confused...Opinions needed

OK, so I've been driving my F82 for 6 months, drag raced it at Bimmerfest East, and realized it is in serious need of a rubber upgrade. Had significant traction issues after the first two runs.

I have read the threads in this topic for 2 weeks upside down and sideways, and I am admittedly still completely confused about what to get. I have no expertise in this stuff. All I know is that I want more traction/performance. Want to be able to floor it off the line and/or use launch control without spin. But appearance also very important. Have 15mm and 20mm spacers currently with stock wheels tires. Ready to remove them/reduce them for wider tires.

Opinions requested!:

1) What tires/sizes would you recommend if I stick to stock wheels? I am/was seriously considering PSS 275/35/19s front and 295/35/19 rears, but they are sold out everywhere apparently. Also very interested in Yok Ad0r8s, but concerned over the 30 vs 35 sidewall. Should I be? How bad is that gap? I want to be able to drive the car in the rain, but willing to slow down in exchange for optimal dry/drag performance. Mostly interested in straight line grip and acceleration.

2) What wheels/tires/sizes would you recommend if I'm willing to buy new wheels? Looks are important to me, but so is performance. wider wheels with 305s? Brands? styles? I loved the look of my previous E46 M3 competition package, so any wheels that look like that (silver) are a bonus.

Opinions welcome! Please chime in.

Thank you for your time.

Launch control will always spin except the design of LC will keep the rears only spinning 4 mph faster than front tires that's the beauty of that I would say, then code euro mdm if your not using LC.

Stock wheels you can run PSS 275/35/19s front and 295/35/19 rears, for the sidewall i would stick with a 35, but it really all depends on what brand you run. The R888 35 sidewall will fit like a 40.

For aftermarket wheels, the wheels that would be a perfect fitment for appearance but that would also be able to fit the widest tire possible are the Vorsteiner V-FF 103's you can fit a 275 in the front and a 305 in the rears.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or shoot me a email at
andre@europeanautosource.com

I can help you though out the whole process!
