JB4 and VRSF Downpipe Installed Today...
Just got my car back from the shop today and the guys at my normal shop installed it correctly but apparently did not know how to adjust it... I drove home on map 8 and it felt about like stock or how the car felt with my Dinan set up... I admit the JB4 instruction videos are not that explicit and there are so many old videos still online etc I didnt know how to set/change maps correctly either.
So I figured it out and put the car on map 1 and went for a quick test drive and went from being not much impressed to being a little bit scared how fast the car felt... It is super quick now and I have not even tried map 2 which should optimize for my 93 octane and downpipe/full akrapovic exhaust!! I am super happy, I will not have to do anything else to this car. It feels faster than my 595hp mustang by far. Crazy... Good job JB4! Anyone want to buy my Awron vent gauge? It's in perfect condition. Took it out to get my air vent back and didnt want any canbus competition. |

Installed my JB4 last weekend, and when I first went for a drive on Map 1, I had a grin ear-to-ear. I have been driving much of this week on Map 2 with the exhaust valves open and it's been awesome. Just using 93 octane pump gas.

Switching between Maps 1 and 2 you do feel the difference though.

The dudes at my shop put the car on map 8 thinking that was the 'highest map'... haha wtf!? Car did 440whp on map 8 with no methanol etc. I switched it to map 1 and was like OH YEA, there it is!!

Wow and now I just realized that my 3rd gear boost was being limited to almost nothing. Haha even more power being found! Those guys that installed this thing had no idea how to configure it. Neither did I until today apparently hehe
Just did a 3rd gear pill and man I disappeared on the traffic behind me. |
