Front Camera Add-on

I'm looking for a front camera that can help me to view parking barriers. It's getting old parking two feet away... Ideally, it would integrate nicely with the standard electronics as well. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I looked into options a while back but the cheapest option was around $800 I think, so I didnt do anything. I'd be interested to know if anything is cheaper now

How about you park yourself in reverse instead? Way simpler and you have that rear-view cam already there.

Yeah, there's workaround's. But they're just that - workarounds. I'd like to be able to have the option to park head first and see the barrier. You can always back in but with a camera you've got a trouble-free option for both.

if you have sideview cameras there are yellow lines on the screen that show where the front bumper of the car is so that you can stop before the yellow lines get to the "curb"

I could see how that would be a good solution for curbs, but does it work for parking barriers? Someone mentioned in another thread that there's a blacked out section in the front that would not show the barriers.

Bimmertech, and it's $549 shipped. Saw them mention it in another thread.

The challenge with that is when you are pulling into a space that is angled so the curb isn't straight on to you. I always feel like I'm about to run aground. but always end up parking 3ft from the curb.

Does this work equally well with parking barriers as opposed to curbs?
