Another Happy BPM Sport Customer (Plus X Pipes!)
So, I had my X Pipes installed today by Elite Motorsport on Long Island (awesome shop, awesome crew...insanely clean shop). I got the pipes with high-flow cats as I'd still like to be able to pass inspection here in NY, plus...I don't really NEED catless.
The sound in conjunction with the Eisenmann Race is insane! Plus, I can still have a conversation in the car. Win! As soon as I got home, I flashed the ECU. Mike's reputation is well known and absolutely true. Super quick e-mail responses, and he even convinced me to use a PC again after switching solely to Mac many years ago, haha. The tune was incredibly simple and fast! No hiccups whatsoever, and all of the programs ordered worked brilliantly. The car feels so much more responsive and alive. The Servotronic changes are exactly what it needed from the factory. I've only driven the car around a bit around the neighborhood and on the highway for a few minutes, but it's ridiculously apparent that the tune was well worth the money! Best part is, Mike said that the software adapts and such as I get more seat time in, so there's more fun in store! Here's a quick video. Once I have some more time, I'll get some better footage (GoPro, steadier cam w/ less wind, etc).

Car sounds really good , and of course the BPM/Tune is a blast !
But personal I think your car needs LCI/Taillights...

I bought a used M3 that already had BPM tune. To be honest, I wish it didn't come with a tune. Everytime I drive the car, I freak out that something can go wrong.
If my car is stock, I would just get a tune to delete the CES and keep the engine stock |

Garaged in winter is the best for our cars to avoid road salt...same thing here. About the LCI's ...You will see it's actually really worth .

It's my understanding that none of the tunes add too much power. However, there may be other aspects that still make it worthwhile. Other than Mike's great customer service, which is well documented all over this forum, can you give us so more insight into what you feel the tune did for you car?
Thanks.

The servotronic changes give the steering a much more involving feel. Heavier for sure...but, not TOO heavy. I also felt that, even in M, the steering was a bit too light. I haven't tried launch control yet, but I'm excited to play around with it. And, it may just be a placebo effect, but I feel like the improved throttle response helps with smoother shifts.

It's an Active Autowerke X-Pipe with their 200 cell cats connected to an Eisenmann Race exhaust with Eisenmann connecting pipes.

I'll have verify with AA if they use 200 or 100 HFC's at the moment. On the website it says 100 but I do like the idea of having primary HFC's while not triggering the CEL.

My mistake! I had 200 in my head for some reason (I think it stuck when researching their old HFC to new HDC), they are in fact 100 cell!

I didn't get any CEL on the way home from the shop...
Of course, I flashed the ECU immediately, but I'm pretty sure something would've been triggered on the 45 minute drive and 15 minute road test the shop did.
