1200 miles service in norcal

I live down the street from Weatherford. I hated their sales dept.

I didn't buy the M3 from them. I just need to get the 1200 miles service done.

Has anyone gotten service done through them? I was going to leave my car in Elk Grove but they did not have any open slots for this saturday.

Can anyone recommend a service advisor in the bay area?

With BMWSF you can come in early in the morning and drop it off w/o appointment. Call to confirm that, but that's how I did my 1,200 mile service. Totally worth it!

BMWSF could work for me since I work in the financial district. Just the hassle of hopping on BART back to fidi.

Or just ask them for a shuttle ride

I had my 1200 done at weatherford. It was fine but the appointment was 3 days from when i called. I was 3 hours late but they said it was ok. They use to do drop off without appointments but not anymore.

Oh yah and 2 days after the service was done, my front tire got shredded hitting a metal piece on the ramp merging onto the 80 Toll... It was last Saturday. They took the towed M4 and gave me a loaner.

ouch, sorry to hear about the shredded tire.

i made the appt with weatherford for next friday morning since I have the day off. I hope things have improved there since 3 years ago when I wanted to buy an e90 M3 from them and they wouldn't even let me test drive the car. To top it off, the service advisor I had gave me such a hard time when I wanted them to inspect the hood/bumper gap.

Oh wow! Thats crazy. I leased my e92 m3 about 4-5 years ago. They asked me if i wanted to test drive but i said no. I heard the customer service went down hill for a few years but new owners have taken over the past year. Service is much better than before and getting a loaner is easier. They have a manager that constantly walks around and see if everyone is helped which is a change. Anyways let me know how things pan out for you. When my lease is up i may order a new m4 somewhere else far away if they dont give me under msrp.

I walked in last week asking if they were doing M3/M4 under MSRP. One of the SA's nicely told me they were doing $2500 over MSRP just like everyone else in the bay area. They had a BSM M5 sitting in the showroom

Good to hear that there has been a chance in ownership. Maybe service dept has gotten better. I'm sure all those negative reviews on yelp don't help.

I got my F83 custom ordered (from an available allocation) from Stevens Creek BMW for $1500 under MSRP. Plus the BMW NA offered $1500 discount for being an employee at [REDACTED] (sounds like its available for numerous major Bay Area employers), I was $3000 under MSRP in the end.
