FS (soon): Alpine White 1M Coupe stripper in Toronto
Hey 1'ers, I'm going to be selling my Alpine White 1M a little later this summer, but thought I'd get the word out here first to see if any interested buyers wanted a sneak peak before I post for the masses. It still needs to be cleaned, photographed, and safetied which is probably a month away - part of me hopes I won't need to bother
The good - One owner purchased by yours truly at BMW Downtown - deposit in Nov 2010, order in Feb 2011, delivery on May 31. Have sales receipt and associated paperwork. Zero options - no nav, no folding mirrors, just as light and minimal as the 1M comes. Approx. 36,000 km, every one of them full of love! No salt, no snow, no winter. Garage-kept all it's life, underground, climate controlled. Now out of warranty, but last major-ish service performed last month - oil, spark plugs, brake, tranny and diff fluids. Plenty of additional maintenance done by yours truly, with accurate records of everything done. This car has done about 8,000 km on track, and I am diligent about over-maintaining. Never modded - the only things ever added and still on this car are OEM carbon fibre trunk lip, Invisishield on front bumper/full hood/rear fenders ahead of tires (crap application job), tasteful tint, Burger Motorsports oil catch can. Car starts perfectly, idles smooth both hot and cold, never gone into limp mode, never thrown any codes. The bad - 3 noticeable scratches on the passenger seat side bolster, likely from a button or zipper rubbing across the leather as someone got in the car. 2 small stone chips - one on the driver's front fender, the other on the driver's door Side sills are pitted, especially the areas just rearward of the front tires - track abuse. Mirror caps pretty pitted as well. Tires are original PS2's which not only suck, but they're also close to their death. Both headlight lenses are scratched - that crap Invisishield job I referenced? Well the guy decided to use the headlights as backing for making a cut with his X-acto! Front and rear wheels on the passenger side both have a bit of curb rash Aside from the blemishes above, this car is MINT - I'm one of 'those' guys! There are certainly details I'm forgetting, and I'll update as I think of additions. Will be selling for less (but not too much less) than $60k. One of the ultimate drivers' cars in its purest form with an extremely detailed history. Car is available now if the right buyer comes along. Reply or PM me with any questions. Cheers! |

What do you guys think is fair? I'm having a bit of a tough time deciding - I need to get passed comparing to cars on the US market and doing the exchange. I went on the high side due to 1 owner, low km's, no "intrusive" mods, and private sale w/detailed history.
