How to check if your car has a tune?

as mention in the title, i would like to know if anyone is able to check if there is a tune installed on my car? reason i ask is because after installing my catless xpipe i didn't get any CEL lights. i contacted previous owner and asked if he installed any tune or did any modifications on the car and stated no. may be im just lucky enough to not get a CEL without a tune but if there is a tune i would like to know as well. Any information on how to find out if my car has a tune would be appreciated. thanks

It can take weeks to throw a light after installing a Catless system. It all depends on your driving style/distance/trips, etc..

Hey Mike, thanks for the input. I've had this catless system on for almost a year now and still no CEL haha. As for driving, I drive my car daily for roughly 20-30 miles a day and on weekends I drive a lot on freeway. Is it possible for the dealer to detect a tune?

If that's the case then it's definitely tuned if there are no wiring changes/extenders/delete-R

Send me your VIN and I can tell you if it's tuned by us.

If the guy did't disclose the tune prior to the sale, why would he after the sale? Then he just looks deceptive. Better to take the I know nothing approach.
