Brake pad sensor

I disconnected my brake pad sensors awhile ago. While disconnecting them I broke one of the sensors. Recently I installed bbk. While doing the install I decided to get a new sensor to replace the sensor I broke. After I installed my bbk I plugged the new sensor and zip tied it to the side. I was expecting the new sensor to make the brake pad light go away but it hasn't gone away.

How do I get rid of the brake sensor light on my dash now with my bbk on?

Did you start the car to power cycle the diagnostics?

Nice. I'll try that.

Thanks.

Finally got down to fixing the brake light. I needed 2 front sensors as they were cooked. Left the rear since it looked perfect and I didn't feel like removing the wheel well lining. Zip tied all to the struts. Started the car. Reset from the BC stalk. And perfecto! No more warnings for the first time in months!

Thanks to all for the tips

Also, if you don't care about the wear sensors, you can cut the wire, splice the wires together and essentially complete the circuit again. I check my own brakes regularly, so I don't really care about the brake sensors.

I took an old sensor and cut the end and wired the 2 wires together. I started the car and tried to reset but the indicator still not going away.

There are 3 sensors. Need to try the other ones as well. Also some people are having luck disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Battery trick won't work if you still have sensor issue on other wheels
