PCD aborted due to weather but got car anyway

I just got back from PCD (Greenville, SC) to Atlanta with my new M3 a day earlier then expected. Due to winter weather it was touch and go if the PCD would even be open tomorrow (02/26). It was confirmed they were delayed until 10AM (which meant no driver experience) and the factory was closed.

All that considered i asked if I could drive up today (02/25), take car now and do all the events later it the year. And that is exactly what i did.

At 3:30pm I drove away in my brand new M3. Heading back to PCD in late May to do all the activities.

My first impressions of the car. Better in everyway to the previous generation (the sound is my only question at this time). It is really easy to get DSC to kickin in Sport+.

The biggest difference I see with the F80 compared to the E90 is how much more Jekyll OR Hyde this car can be based on configuration.

A more detailed review after I have had a few days and the snow and ice is gone.

Some quick pictures below as we wanted to get back on the road again as soon as possible to beat the snow, sleet, ice and 0c/32f temps. More to come on the weekend.

Great looking car- congrats!!! Love the color combo!! To bad about the PCD - my wife and I picked up our first BMW there and it's a great experience.

At least you have May to look forward to!!!

Is it a MG F83 with 18" wheels? If so I saw that today. My wife thought it was my car initially.

No, I got the 19's and as of today it wrapped up at the VPC and is awaiting transport.
