More surprised of how it held up against the turbo to be honest, especially if it's a 997. Never thought the F430s were incredibly fast still crazy to see how far cars have come in 10 years.

Very nice race... FYI F430s aren't fast... N54s had no trouble with them properly modified... Just don't try this with a 458... please

I think you are correct, I've owned a 430 Scuderia and a 458. The Scud without a doubt feels crazy fast because its so stripped out and noisy, however my gut feel is that the F80/82 would outrun it at least to 140 or so... The 458 on the other hand would be another story.....

One point to add on these street races is the result is often more to do with which driver is most willing to push past the limit of common sense. I've had many occasions where I've been driving fast and has another car try to race with me on the open road and I will usually lift off to avoid a potential accident - its just not worth the risk to both myself and others on the road... Besides I have the satisfaction of knowing I am nearly always driving the best car regardless :-)
