AR Design catted downpipes: new product
Here is the first set of catted downpipes I have seen advertised for this car. Even better, ar design is an excellent company with top level fitment and quality (from my n54 days).
I'm very intrigued how these will perform, sound and whether they will prevent cel. Who's gonna try these first? http://www.ardesign.info/store/selec...race-cats.html Price seems fairly reasonable at 1499.99 msrp.

1150! Even better . Cheaper than some of the lesser companies catless dp
I would think there will still be some gains over the oem setup. But mainly better throttle response and turbo spooling, better sound while containing rasp and not having to deal with cel Very compelling product imo |

Highly unlikely. I think you'd still pick up a CEL

Based on past experience with other cars, high flow cats like this will avoid a CEL. No guarantees, of course.

It's an expensive addition, but I'm running an AWRON gauge and pretty soon they will offer CEL suppression and exhaust valve actuation. I love it!

Secondaries not primaries usually are 200 or 400. Either way if catted pipes don't prevent cel than what's point I'm saying unless you had removed secondaries and want to reduce smell
