My New BSM M4 **BIG GRIN**

Well guys – I did it.

I took advantage of the pull ahead program, returned my Dinan S2 550 and drove away with this beauty. My wife does the naming of all of our cars – so I introduce to you Olivia. I have not stopped smiling since I brought her home. She’s loaded with:

Executive Package
Driver Assistance Plus
Lighting Package
DCT
Adaptive M Suspension
19’’ Black Wheels
Harmon Kardon
Enhance B/T

Within three hours of getting the keys I had tint on the car. In case you’re wondering, yes…that is a moonroof. I’m owning it. Its January and 77 degrees here in SoCal….I use it year around and love it. My next stop after the break in is a tune. Haven’t decided if I’m going to drive 3.5 hours to Gintani or go down the street and get the Dinan S1. I’ll let the ECU situation mature a bit before I decide. I was thinking exhaust mod but I gotta tell you, the stock exhaust is putting a pretty big smile on my face -- not sure a mod is needed. I think that last pic is cool.

So cal!!!! The rest of the world is covered in ice, and we are having summer weather!!! Haha.. As I was driving home today I literally told my wife I want sunroof or convertible with a day like this... Congrats and good choice of the sunroof!

I feel the same about the exhaust sound of mine, stock is enough for me at the time, thought I was the only one thinking that

I suppose it is what you are used to. The stock is more than fine for me, I love it, and don't even really notice the active sound if I am honest. I have no other reference points. This is my first M and have never driven any big naturally aspirated anything. Works for me

Well usally I listen to highreving, screaming 2-stroke outboards going 80mph on the water so any car sounds lame compared to that lol. But I do enjoy the note of the F80-F82

I've already had two stalkers (subaru, accord), two thumbs up, and a 12 year old tell me my car is legit. I never got any of that in my 550i

I hear you. I had some guy in an X3 follow me into my work's car park yesterday and pulled right up next to me, dropped his window and said, "Dude, I'm so jealous. When did you get it?"

I was about to call security when he drove off to the other side of the car park, got out and headed into work.

Despite my British beginnings, perhaps its time to consider that concealed weapon permit after all. Just kidding - and I don't want to start a gun control debate

Very nice! Still waiting for the break-in on mine too. Taking way too long! I'm still on the fence regarding the Dinan Stage 1 tune. I'm interested in seeing the direction you go in.
