Re-Delivery after 5 Weeks

Yesterday I picked up my 2015 Alpine White M4 after dropping off on December 9th with 29 miles. It took 5 1/2 weeks for re-delivery. The vehicle came back with all the things I have left in like the triangle, firstaid kit and manuals in the glove compartment. Also, my rear plate was in the trunk. I drove it for 1.5 hours from West Palm Beach to Miami. I have owned 2 E92 335i, 4 E92 M3s and 1 435i, I can say the F82 surpassed my expectations. Better technology, better seats, more confortable ride and better HUD. I miss the sound of the V8 but I can get used to the sound of this too. Actually, I prefer this better since I can enjoy the music better on the HK(must set the equalizer to get the best of it). Performance comparison after 1200 miles service. I drove it in D with the default setting for confort, I found it more civilized than the E92, a softer ride in confort. That's all I can say so far. Today I did the interior detail cleaning the cockpit and conditioning the leather seats. Tomorrow clay and Menzerna Power Lock since the car has no swirls after inspection. No need to polish. Overall I like it better than the E92 but I miss the V8 sound. For street driving I like having the torque. Glad to be back in the M family.

After you do a few the wait is a non issue. The longest I have to wait was 9 weeks after customs held my vehicle. 5 Weeks was nothing. Actually the fastest i have ever gotten.

LOL, did you fly over for the discount, pick it up, do a lap of Munich and drive straight to dropoff? I hope at least you did a trip without the car to make the flight worthwhile!

This was my 8th European Delivery, I have done one every year and I have traveled all over Europe. This time I've stayed for 9 days and I was not going to rent winter tires for such a short trip. I love Munich and I have friends to have a great time with. I did take an overnight trip by train to Rothenburg. But the highlight of the trip was going to see FC Bayern vs Leverkusen. I always make my trips worthwhile.

Lucky! I was just in Munich last week. I was able to put 549 miles on mine.

Did you not get the front license plate?

What?? You dropped it off December 9 and you already have your car?! I dropped mine off November 29, and I still don't have mine (Although I am located on the west coast).
