Upgraded from E93 to AY F80

Hello Guys,

Im a bit new here however i couldn't resist sharing my feedback after i traded in my 2012 E93 with a Beautiful AY F80.

I was the number one hater for the new M4/M3 generation based on the perception that the new Twin Turbo engine is a downgrade from the V8 Beast, in addition to the sound of the engine and exhaust which seemed to be very bad on youtube videos.

Until that day when i test drove the F80, and this was a turning point in my life where it shocked me with the amount of torque and power and also the sweet exhaust sound when the valves are open, which led to an immediate decision in trading in the v8 E93 and get this one.

The car has been with me since a week and i cannot really describe the pleasure that I'm having in every KM i drive, and believe it or not i won't trade this car even for a Ferrari, it is simply the perfect car that has everything you can ever dream of.

Other than the Tons of neck breaking torque, The biggest joy is the LOUD Exhaust Fart generated from the exhaust while on the second or third gear once you give it some power and let go the pedal before shifting to the higher gear, oh man, try it in a tunnel or a closed parking and see how heads will turn to see the source of that Loud Roar with the sophisticated turbos whistles.

Not to mention that the Austin Yellow colour here in Dubai is not a common colour at all , however the amount of attention the car is getting is unbelievable, while it clearly shows that your number one enemies are the Mercedes C63 drivers who simply get aggressive the moment they see this beauty in their way.

My pure advise to whoever is still thinking if to go with this car and this specific colour, simply don't think twice, you will LOVE IT .

Test drive is mandatory to give you the real feeling , never rely on youtube videos, they make it sound like a KIA with a whole in the exhaust , while the car sounds totally different in person.

Glad to be here sharing the ultimate satisfaction in owning the best M ever made, and looking forward to benefit from the experience of all of the super M Pilots around here.

I think the guys who made the youtube videos in the beginning forgot to put it in sport or sport+( on purpose?). A lot of haters. I also think the car sounds fine

Congratulations! Videos do this car no justice. Frankly, the videos make it sound weird. In person, it's a whole different story. It's just a fantastic all-around car. Enjoy it.

Welcome to the AY Club!! I also went from an E93 to an AY F80 (I did a more "conservative" black full leather interior - LOL - but I also have black wheels and CF roof).

E93 and V8 were awesome - but I have no regrets with this new car - the power, sound, handling and the AY COLOR!! I've even driven it on the track - incredible.... I look forward to every minute that I drive it!
