I run a KIWI OBDII Wi-Fi in my car with the Palmer Software as well as Harry´s Laptimer. Does anyone know if one must have the BMW original hardware?

It's definitely not tire pressure when the other selections regard the engine operating vitals. Keep in mind that an engine is an air pump, and this one is (under pressure).
