F8x brakes on 135i?

I have a 2012 135i just wondering if it's possible to swap front calipers/rotors. I keep warping the stock rotors it's annoying the hell out of me

Anything is possible with enough $ and effort and perhaps custom made parts. This is not an easy change. The cheapest and easiest upgrade is to 335i brakes. Anything more than that and the price and effort goes up quickly. Go to realoem.com and look up the hub carrier part number for the 135. Then take this part number and do a search. That will give you a list of cars that are candidates to do a brake swap with. If the car with the brakes that you want is not on the list then count on a more extensive list of parts beyond just the brake components required for the swap. Kind of like the ever expanding home remodeling project.

Thanks for the info. Quick question though aren't the 135i 6 piston brakes better than any 335i brakes out? Reason I wanted to know about F8X swap is Bc my buddy got brembos on his S55 so I was thinking maybe I could do the swap lol

Lots of threads on the topic. The 135 Brembos look nice but aren't really up to the task if you track the car. People including myself have done all sorts of things to try and tweak them and make them work. Bottom line though is heavy track duty requires a bigger set of brakes than those on the 135.

Ok. So are the 335i brakes better though? Everything I'm finding says otherwise. Problem i keep having is warped rotors luckily I'm under the CPO maintenance warranty just annoying. They told me I could do M rotors and pads for 1,000 and then they would be covered under the warranty next time I needed brakes

I haven't seen anything negative about 335 brakes. I only have my personal experience of putting the 335 brakes on my 330. They have eliminated all braking issues in that car which, similar to the 1, had brakes that couldn't take the track. The 335 brakes are larger diameter and larger in depth too than the 1. Take a look at the thread on someone looking at putting 1m brakes on the 1 for details.
