A few of you were getting the Eisenmann system installed today. What are your first impressions of the sound? Any sound/video clips?

I've had one for two weeks. It's awesome.

super long day started at 4am ended 1030pm long drive. tomorrow morning Ill head out do some more seat time and also some vids.

first impressions:

looks: love how the canisters sit up in the bumper so you don't see canisters hanging down from behind like you do with stock which is nice. The tips are stunning! I love the looks of them
sound: sounds louder then stock under load and regular driving but at idle the sound is slightly louder then stock but def more raw sounding.

Also I tuned off Active Sound and I may be crazy but IMO made a difference in a good way I think?. Hard to really explain but I drove it with AS and without AS and I preferred it without it so I coded it off.

YES! Someone else has a problem with the ass view! Now, even before the diffuser, it looks so much cleaner without the huge canister hanging under it. It could be just me, but I always remember Jeeps, and their extra wheels when I see that part. overkill is an overkill.

I've written this to you before, but we should have more people like you here. K, this is your job, I get that, but you truly have a positive way of saying things, and most of us should learn from that.

Indeed your presence is needed here, rarely a positive person hangs out here.

I've been trying to annoy Sam@modecarbon for days, nothing. I mean, he has the nerves of steel, and a sense of humor too. Gotta love them for that. Also, they make the only lip that with I could drive. I have a tendency to be a bit clearance forgetful.

I have abt 7 days with a will to live left. I'm modding since I forgot it is Christmas.

Glad you are liking the system. Cant wait to see the more detailed review and photos of the black system.

How would you compare the volume and sound to the MPE? I know your secondaries are removed but you have resonator right?

Tom@EAS said the Eisn with DPs was the loudest set up he had ever heard so far. so you will def want to get DPs since I know you like the louder set ups if you went with meisterschaft prior

you should have rolled over. We were there till 7pm!!! LONG DAY so many cars in there

Sam is a great guy I spoke with him a few times. I thought they had a diff out? Or maybe they were working on one? I was able to get a first hand view of Mikes aka Deviant Vorstiener diff yesterday and WOW that thing was bad ass. Super aggressive but driving on the street it looks so good.

Ok, so here's my first impressions. I will say that I just drove 450miles with it back home but the rear seats were down as my stock exhaust was keeping me company so it may be a tad louder in the cabin then it will be today. We'll see here soon.

Comfort mode - I would say it's very similar to Sport + stock. Except with a touch meaner growl. During cruising highway speeds (which I did a lot of) you don't even notice it.

Sport + (valves open). HELL HATH RELEASED THE FURY!!!!

I toyed with an E46 M3 on some long empty straightaways on I-5 and I'm sure he had no idea what hit him. The same with the M6 GC that thought he was quick. DESTROYED is putting it lightly. The car just SCREAMS! On the dyno the SPL meter read 123.5dB. Outside revving it was 120dB. It was about 10dB louder than GOLFFRR's as I did Eisenmann DP's. Ceramic coated they came out amazing!

We took so much video and data but it's all with EAS. They are going to put some clips together.

I do remember vividly that GOLFFRR's Eisenmann only was the same loudness with his valves closed as the stock exhaust with valves open. I believe it was 99dB. Then his open was 110dB. Mine open was 120dB with the DPs.

Looks:
The canister is pure sex. The all black with the polished E. GOLFFRR's gloss black tips with stainless inners looked fantastic. I am anti-shiny so I love my gloss black tips with matte black inners. The Vorsteiner rear diffuser makes it look like it's going to punch you in the face.

So far is becoming exactly what I wanted it to be with was the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde. Quite and comfortable when in Comfort and rip your head off and shove it down your throat because racecar in Sport +.

I think I may have finally achieved that.

I recommend RKP or RPK (can never get this brand name right) cf diffuser from IND.
Installed it yesterday and it did make huge difference.
It looks much more aggressive than BMW P one too IMO.
