Downpipes w/ Stock Exhaust

Anyone have a video of a stock exhaust vs stock exhaust with downpipes?

Don't have a video, but I only have catless downpipes and its a lot louder.

At WOT it reminds me of my Akra GT4 on my e92.

Sounds really good. A lot better than stock!

I think I am going to do downpipes and cut out the secondary cats, and weld in my own piping and dyno and see what that yields, and maybe add an axel back. I think that maybe the most cost effective while still yielding gains. Vs spending 3k + for a full catback.

That's what I was going to do but keep stock axel-back (no point in changing).

Those of you with DP's and stock exhaust - is there noticeable drone during highway speeds?

Yeah no point in the axel back, just keep the valves open if you're looking for louder.

Get Catless downpipes, cut out the secondary cats weld in straight pipe, and then get the TPG race exhaust axel back portion, that will be a loud exhaust. I bet that setup would yield with in 5 hp of any full downpipe back exhaust.

As much as I think they're amateur hour, that won't match what they've produced. They're using 3" piping, factory is 2.5. So their full system should out perform given those circumstances.
