Decisions!
Hello everybody, i just purchased about 2 months ago an M4 (BSM). I am torn between a few things that i know have been discussed throughout the forums so please don't bash me. I am curious about Peoples experience with the JB4. If anyone has had any problems or thoughts they can share. i see a lot of Posts about the JB4 (graphs and so on) but not much review of the actual drive with the product. And as far as downpipes i am also having a tough decision on the akrapovic or the ER downpipes. Money is not an issue (not trying to sound arrogant) i just want the best product with the best reliability. Also thoughts on dinan anyone? i see on N54 tuning a great deal on JB4 and ER downpipes and i am on the edge of buying them tonight.
Also i will post some pictures of my BSM m4 tonight mods include: m performance lower lip m performance carbon fiber splitters m performance rocker panels m performance carbon fiber diffuser m performance spoiler BMC filters/ charcoal delete on the way: IND carbon fiber mirror caps IND BSM front reflectors IND Gloss black grille IND side markers Drag radials not sure which one's yet though Last edited by orevah; 11-28-2014 at 07:47 PM.. |

I can't really answer the questions that you're asking, but... I have relatively the same build coming, so I am excited for pics!
From what I have read from other members though, is that JB4 is pretty reliable. Also, if you ever need to shut it off for service I believe you just switch to Map 0. I hope that meager bit of information helps |

If you know what you're doing (not to sound like an ass), buy the JB4. If you don't get DINAN, Turner, ESS or likewise. The flexibility of the JB4 is great and it's reliable, but it does require some knowledge to use properly, whereas the others are simple plug and play.

I have 2 E92 M3's, one with AA level 3 SC and both have full AA sig exhaust. I am not someone that considers cost ahead of quality either. I was chatting with Steffan of Zima Motorsports about the DP's they are producing and I had a very good feeling about them. I ended up pulling the trigger and getting Ceramic coated DP's and JB4 combo from them. I am VERY happy! Fit and finish are great and the weld quality is Pro! Give them a shout.
