Dyno results and types of dyno's

I realize that there are several types of dyno's out there...Dynojet, Mustang, etc.

I have a JB4 on my M/T M3 and recently put my car on a Mainline dyno. The results were reading lower numbers than what I've been seeing on here. 416HP and 425TQ. (Map 1 and 93 Octane)

I did some research and saw this very interesting article...

http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/additio...is-dyno-guide/

I still can't understand how some chassis dynamometers read high and others read low. With the set up I have, I was expecting to be in the higher 400's on HP and TQ.

Am I expecting too much?

You're only running map 1.

Different dyno's read different numbers. You want to be inline with everyone else, put it on a Dynojet. I had mine on a Mustang and it read low - as expected.

They all read different. If you want "internet approved" numbers always use a Dynojet brand.
