vrsf stepped fmic owners

i owned this since it came out in july. twice now the hose have come loose and i get the 2abc code for charge pressure. i dont want to over-tighten because the stock aluminum piping is soft. does anyone else have these problems installing this fmic on the 135? almost seems like the silicone hose is an inch too short.

Yes i have had this problem on on the turbo out into fmic coupler however you just have to readjust it. BMW took mine off when i had it in for service and put it back on terribly and it slowly slipped off. You just have to align it perfectly and tighten it as much as possible without bending anything as the clamps are strong. It helps to have two set of hands to adjust the clamp from the engine bay as well as hold it from underneath while tightening. Mine has not come loose since and i have done many 18psi+ days of driving.

A sign the clamp is not on well is oil spray from wherever its leaking from or boost leak codes if it is seriously leaking.

you can adjust it on right with two people. Just double check before completely tightening the clamps that they are on good. Have never had a problem since the day i installed it.
