MPE - Which tips to get?

I'm planning to get the MPE installed at my 1,200 mile service and can't decide on which tips to get? Any suggestions?

My paint is SS and I have the Rear CF Diffusor installed.

Thanks for the feedback.

Titanium

I love carbon fiber, but to me on the tips it looks pretty fake because it is just there for the looks, not functional at all. I chose the titanium ones and I'm pretty happy so far.

You are going to love the MPE. It is LOUD!!!

I recently added MPE with the titanium tips and I don't think it matters, unless you are the type to obsess over every detail. It really is a very small part of the visual image of the car. The diffuser has a much bigger impact in my opinion.

As with antything cosmetic, the choice of tips is very personal, so there is no bad choice.

On that note, I find the CF tips overdone. I prefer designs where form follows function, and to me the CF tips have no raison d'être. Here's a picture of my SS M4 rear end with the CF diffuser and Ti tips. I find it looks great, nice and purposeful

I wanted CF at first but when I went into the dealership they put both on for me to compare. Although CF looks good I felt the diffuser and tips blended in too well where I could not clearly makeout the CF tips. Additionally, when the titanium was installed I was still undecided but leaning towards titanium because it had a distinguishable look from the diffuser giving it more of a raw sportier feel. Go have the dealer put both on and compare. Best way to decide. If you are going to pay this much for tips you can afford to swap them out later on if you want a change.

The Ti tips look fantastic! I love the CF Tips as well but I like the contrast Ti offers.

My wife already complains about how the M3 sounds when I start it in the garage with the OEM exhaust. Would you mind posting a video of what the MPE sounds like when you start the car inside your garage? Thanks

Not vidoe can replicate how loud the car is on start up with the MPE. There is bass stacato that mics just don't pick up. When my M4 is started up cold, you can hear the rumble in the whole house, and my car is not even parked in a garage.

Its much louder (and better) at start-up in a garage.

I never mentioned to the wife that I got the new exhaust, so I am curious to see if she notices the difference or if she just starts to assume that it was always that loud.

I'm trying to fight the urge to buy MPE at delivery. But this thread isn't helping at all.

I do think after seeing these pics of the SO car I'm going titanium. I think the diffuser and cf tips may be too much.
