So she has finally arrived and I cannot express how excited and happy I am that this BEAST is finally at my local dealer! I truly cannot wait to get behind the steering wheel and begin to share my experience with my fellow "M'ers".

She arrived last week Friday and I was lucky enough to be at the dealer to watch her being offloaded and brought in.

I have to wait another week before I can get behind her as I have a LOT of modifications happening. I hope you guys and gals will enjoy this experience with me as she progresses through all her stages.

I'm thinking of adding the MPE to my F80 and am debating between which Tips I should get. I'm guessing you like the look of the CF tips better? Any other reasons why you choose them?

I prefer the carbon tips not only for their looks but also because of their size. The Ti tips are the same size as the original tips 80mm to be specific. The carbon tips are 93mm in size due to the carbon surrounding and fill up the gap where the tips come out rather nicely. I will post pics as soon as they are installed.

Update 1:

Not the greatest of photos but just an update on Round 1 of mod upgrades. I will definitely be taking better photos tomorrow for a better view.

With all this said I can definitely say that the photos do NOT do the upgrades any justice, one actually needs to see them in real life to appreciate them.

For anybody looking at adding the side rockers, I highly highly recommend getting the side stickers to accompany the upgrade, it just changes the car completely! Just please don't add the M Performance logo - it really looks horrible (personal preference though).

I got the car sent to a special Panel Beater as I did not want to use any of the double sided tape, hence I got everything done with Betalink.

Just a caution to those that are adding the front splitters, you are either going to have to cut into the front mudflap or have it removed. Also note that the front splitter does not go all the way to the back of the front bumper side grill, the guys doing the install inserted a small piece of rubber between the grill and the CF splitter to get a perfect finish - it really looks part of the car now!
