Euro Delivery F80 M3 Silverstone

Spent a week touring Bavaria and Switzerland after delivery. The M3 is amazing, quite a thrill opening up the turbos for the first time on the autobahn and cutting hairpins on alpine roads. Wasn’t sure how I’d take the color since I’d never seen it in person on the M3 but love the subtle blue and black combo. The photos pretty much sum up all the good stuff – beer, bratwurst, bread, old castles, open roads, Alps, and ultimate driving machine.

10/19: Fly in to Munich. BMW Welt and Museum.
10/20: Delivery Day.

Tour the Bavarian countryside.
10/21: Drive to Interlaken Switzerland. Stopped at castles Lichtenstein and Hohenzollern. Although hit a heavy storm that night.
10/22: Interlaken, toured local hills.
10/23: Gondola ride to top of Schilthorn. Drive back to Munich.
10/24: Day trip to castle Neuschwanstein .
10/25: Quick wash and drop off. Fly out the next day.

Thanks! These were taken with a Nikon D5300 with Sigma 18-250 DC Macro OS, just got it about a month ago.

Great photos, you're talented my friend. Isn't it true that your dealer will give you a discount to offset the trip cost for EU delivery? That's what I've been told by my BMW finance guy this weekend.

Thanks! Yep, at least $4k off msrp, which comfortably covers a trip. This is my second EU delivery and will probably do it every time.

Awesome photos!! I wasn't able to spend as much time taking fantastic photos during my ED this past week :-( but these photos capture Europe's beauty in the fall. Such a fantastic way to start making memories with the ///Machine!!!
