Oil Temp
I have the BMS oil bypass valve and the weather is getting cooler. What temp is too cold for a FBO 135i? I have another car that I usually daily drive but I still take the 1er out for some fun nights and track/autocross events. Is it bad to drive the car with oil temps around 190-210 when not spirited driving? I change the oil every 7500 miles.

190-210 isn't too bad that's what my car runs at right now in this cold ass weather , pretty sure it's just fine. Cold starts in the morning are when you should be careful to drive your car easy until it hits 160 and the jb4 flashes at you.

I would want the oil to get hot enough to boil off the water in it. Combustion process creates quite a bit of water, and it gets into the oil. One of the features of engine oil is its ability to hold moisture suspended in it. You want to be able to get that water out. That would be 100 C, or 212 F.
